What Are the Best Waterproof Flooring Options?
Water and flooring have not gone together in the past. With modern technology and new product offerings have given
consumers more opportunities in areas of the home where water is present (i.e.
bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry rooms).
LVT/LVP
The first option is LVT / LVP, which stands for Luxury vinyl tile / luxury vinyl plank. Luxury
vinyl has many different compositions LVT is pure vinyl, wood plastic composite (WPC),
a limestone composite (SPC / Rigid). The one thing all different types of LVT have in

Laminate
The next option is laminate that has a special treatment that repels water. These new
laminates will not absorb surface water for up to 72 hours, making them virtual
