Create A Custom Rug

As always, Georgia Carpet is committed to providing for any of your flooring needs. One of our latest additions to our store is custom rugs. While our broadloom carpet and carpet tile options are perfect for full coverage, sometimes you just need a rug to liven up a smaller space or match your existing carpet. We work with companies like Fabrica, Stanton, Masland, Anderson Tuftex, and Dixie Home to create any size rug you need. Our methods are simple: select a broadloom from any of the brands listed above, the size and binding you want, and we’ll do the rest. These rugs are just broadloom cut into a specific size with backing and binding to ensure comfort and quality. With so many different styles, you’ll have no trouble finding something that fits your space (size and design-wise)! One of the significant benefits of custom rugs is their flexibility. You can choose a size and carpet type that's right for you. There are no limits to your design ideas; whether it's a patterned or shag rug that you want, you can get it! Rugs also allow you to have the best of both worlds. You can have vinyl, stone, or hardwood flooring and add a stunning custom rug for an eclectic mix of colors and textures in your space. Whether you want to add a bold accent to your living room or neutral visuals for your office, Georgia Carpet has you covered.  Pricing on each carpet pattern page is general square feet price for material only (it does not include labor, binding, waste and backing costs).

What Is a Custom Rug?

Don't feel restricted by size, color or configuration. Custom rugs let you choose from a broad spectrum of aesthetic possibilities. At the same time, you specify the dimensions you need, and we cut it down to size. The result means no compromises on your part.

Ordering a Custom Rug Through Georgia Carpet

Our custom rugs begin with broadloom material, which we cut into a specific size. All rugs include backing and binding to ensure comfort and quality. With so many different styles, you'll have no trouble finding something that fits your space (size and design-wise)!

To order a custom area rug:

  1. Browse all possibilities: Select a broadloom carpet from any of the brands listed above, plus the size and binding you want, and we'll do the rest. There are no limits to your design ideas; whether it's a patterned or shag rug that you want, you can get it! Whether you want to add a bold accent to your living room or neutral visuals for your office, Georgia Carpet has you covered.
  2. Select a size: Measure your space first. As a general tip, make sure your custom area rug sits a couple of feet from any walls or is large enough to be placed underneath furniture. Beyond this, one of the significant benefits of custom rugs is their flexibility. You can choose a size and carpet type that's right for you.
  3. Think about placement: Is this a rug going over carpet - perhaps for aesthetic variety, additional cushioning or insulation? Or will it be placed over another flooring product? And, will it be close to an entryway or in an area of your home with minimal foot traffic? Rugs allow you to have the best of both worlds. You can have vinyl, stone or hardwoodflooring and add a stunning custom rug to infuse your space with an eclectic mix of colors and textures. Beyond appearances, understand that low-pile nylon and wool hold up to the demands of busier environments; longer piles and polyester are better suited to relaxation and entertainment areas.

All custom rugs are priced based on square feet for material only. The amount does not include labor, binding, waste and backing costs.
