Solid or Engineered Hardwood?

Hardwood flooring has long been the gold standard for timeless elegance and natural beauty. Its intricate grain patterns and rich textures bring warmth and character to any space. While solid hardwood remains a classic choice, engineered hardwood offers the same stunning aesthetics in a more versatile, family-friendly package—perfect for modern homes.

At Georgia Carpet, we carry both solid and engineered hardwood flooring from top brands like Bruce Hardwood Flooring, Anderson Hardwood, and more. Choosing between the two depends on your specific installation needs, and with so many options available, it can feel overwhelming. That’s where our team of hardwood flooring specialists comes in—we’re here to help you find the perfect fit for your home.

What is Considered Waterproof?

At Georgia Carpet Industries, waterproof flooring is a huge part of what we offer, with hundreds of styles to suit every home and business. Whether you need flooring that can handle spills, moisture, or high-traffic areas, we have in-stock, discounted options ready to ship directly to you.

At Georgia Carpet, you’ll find wholesale pricing on carpet rolls and carpet tiles from top brands, available in a variety of styles like frieze, plush, nylon, and polyester. Plus, carpet is a great pet-friendly choice, providing comfort and sound absorption for busy households.

Can You Recommend An Inexpensive Flooring Option?

As a trusted retail and online flooring dealer, we offer an extensive selection of hardwood, laminate, waterproof LVP, carpet, and carpet tiles—many at wholesale prices. Our inventory includes first-quality specials, odd lots, and exclusive deals, making it easy to find high-quality flooring at an incredible value.

What Flooring Can I Use Outdoors?

With summers feeling hotter than ever, mowing the lawn is becoming more of a hassle. Artificial turf is the perfect solution—whether for indoor or outdoor use, it eliminates the need for watering, mowing, and constant upkeep. That’s why it’s becoming the go-to replacement for natural grass, especially in dry climates.

But artificial turf isn’t just for residential lawns. It’s also ideal for commercial spaces, sports facilities, and more. In the U.S., baseball remains a beloved pastime, and batting cages are booming—making batting cage turf a must-have for training the next generation of athletes.

Additionally, for those who love their decks and patios, we offer a wide range of indoor/outdoor rugs and carpets! Designed to stand up against the wear and tear of outdoor use, these are perfect for a wide variety of spaces!

Is There a Cost to Shipping?

Yes. The price of any flooring shipped to you or a terminal includes the cost of shipping and handling. With “free shipping” deals, the shipping cost is built into the product price. Flooring picked up in person at our warehouse includes no shipping or handling cost.

Can I Pick Up the Flooring In-Person?

Absolutely! You are welcome to come to our Dalton, Georgia warehouse and pick it up for yourself. Be sure to coordinate with your salesperson on the day and time, so we can have it ready for you when you arrive. Click here for directions.

Can I See the Flooring Before I Order It?

We know that choosing flooring is more than just looks—it’s about how it feels in your space. Shopping online is convenient, but nothing compares to experiencing the texture, color, and quality in person. That’s why Georgia Carpet Industries offers carpet and flooring samples shipped directly to you.

To make the best choice, we recommend ordering a few samples from different styles or brands. This way, you can see, touch, and compare before making your final decision—ensuring the perfect fit for your home.

You can order through this website, by email at onlinesales@georgiacarpet.com, or by calling us at (800) 535-8789.

How Much Does it Cost to Order a Sample?

The cost depends on the manufacturer. Some manufacturers provide free samples, which you can order at no cost. Complimentary samples (as long as they are available) are limited 3 per address and/or person. We are happy to help you over the phone or via email.

Can I Visit You In Person?

Absolutely! Our showroom is open to the public! We are located off Exit 328 in Dalton, Georgia, at 3352 S. Dug Gap Road. Click here for directions!

You can also virtually tour our showroom at the bottom of this page!

Will the Flooring Ship Directly to My House?

Flooring deliveries offer two options for shipping. You can have the flooring delivered directly to your home, or it can be delivered to a shipping terminal in your city for you to pick up. While you may be inclined to choose home delivery, we highly recommend terminal delivery. You can view our video shipping guide at the bottom of this page.

Consult with your sales representative to determine which delivery option is best for you.

What Does Home Delivery Mean?

Home delivery means the order is delivered directly to your home. This requires a large semi-truck to navigate to your home and is not recommended for places where a semi cannot easily access or exit from.

You must be present when the truck arrives, or the delivery will not be dropped off. You will be given a window of time in which you will be expected to remain at home. If you are not home upon arrival of the delivery vehicle, the flooring will not be delivered (most freight companies charge re-delivery fees if the receiver is not available during scheduled delivery).

The flooring will be delivered to the curb in front of your home. You will be required to move it into your home yourself.

You can view our video shipping guide at the bottom of this page.

Consult with your sales representative to determine which delivery option is best for you.

What Does Terminal Pickup Mean?

Terminal pickup requires you or your installer to drive to a shipping terminal of your choosing to retrieve your flooring. Terminal employees will be available to help load the flooring into your vehicle. You will have a pickup window, determined by the shipping company, of 2-4 business days to pick up your flooring.

You can view our video shipping guide at the bottom of this page.

Consult with your sales representative to determine which delivery option is best for you.

Where is the Terminal?

Where you live determines where your nearest terminal is. Most regions have at least one or two freight terminals. Major cities always have several. If you desire this delivery option, our salespeople will work with you to find a terminal near your home.

Do You Provide Installers?

We do not provide installation services. We may be able to recommend installers in your area, but they are third-party contractors without affiliation with Georgia Carpet Industries. You can also visit the International Certified Flooring Installers website, linked here, to find a manufacturer in your area.

What Happens if I Mismeasured?

It is very important to ensure you have measured correctly before ordering. We highly recommend hiring professionals to come and measure your space. As per industry standards, manufacturers will not accept returns of excess flooring.

Purchasing 10-20% more than necessary is recommended to ensure you have enough to cover the required space.

Why Are You Based Out of Dalton, Georgia?
