Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Type:
Full-Time Compensation: Salary or hourly, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Includes a lunch break)
Job Overview:
Georgia Carpet Industries is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience in shipping and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Check in shipments and enter data into the system
✅ Coordinate pickup schedules with freight line companies
✅ Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and damage
✅ Maintain organized records and ensure inventory accuracy
✅ Utilize Microsoft Office or Google Suite for documentation
Requirements:
✔ Strong communication and computer skills
✔ Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
✔ Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations preferred
✔ Must have experience operating hysters (forklifts)
